Well, Whiskers passed. While we were on vacation, my Mom took him to the vet and he was so sick that there wasn't anything they could do to save him. So, she put him down. He was cremated and remains in my brothers room.
I've been a bit stressed out lately because my Dad has yet to finish my enrollment in online school. It's seriously annoying me because I really wanna pick my classes. I'm not excited for school, but shit, I don't wanna be fucking behind. In any case, the good thing that comes out of this is that my Mom is giving the money she was going to use for "back to school shopping" so I can buy things on etsy -3-. All of that money is gonna be useless anyway because the school sends everything to the students, and I obviously don't need any new clothes so...yeah.
I have a new plan for my room at my Dads. Once I clean that disaster of a room, I'm going to remove all of my posters and put them up on the wall facing my bed. I'll most likely remove my dresser, or move in into the closet if it fits, and place my TV on a small stand or something. It'll give me enough room for my desk and my gaming systems. I'm so glad that the ceiling is very high throughout the entire house so it gives me enough room for all my wall scrolls PLUS more.
AND I'M SO FUCKING PISSED THAT THE NETBOOK I BOUGHT DOESN'T WORK. Well...I mean it does, but the AC adapter port is broken. Originally, I thought the battery was shot so I took it out and decided to run it on just the adapter, but something happened and the port stopped working. I found out that it was actually a running problem with the model, but now I have to go and get it fixed, ugh.
I'm also broke as a damn joke, so I need to work my ass off to earn money for Halloween and going to Arizona to visit my friend Bailey. I feel so old, omg. That asshole also got me back into video games so I have to save up for a new X-box and ask for a PS3 for Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, I'm also asking for a new tablet as well, 'cause this ones a piece of poo. I'm gonna ask for an Intuo Medium, but I'm not sure yet. I think I'll hold out on that one for my birthday, since it's January 24th, and ask for video gaming systems and merch.
I'm a nerd.

A Thing

I have my art muse back. I don't know why it left, where it went, or how it got back, but it's here again. I've actuALLY BEEN ARTING A;LEKDJFL;AKSJEDOFKJASD;GHITEUROSDIJFIAKSEDLFX. But, no, seriously, I'm actually working on the thing that I want to use Photoshop to shade. I always have used it for gifs and edits that go on my tumblr, so I'm kinda curious as to see how the thing will actually turn out if I use some of the Actions and Textures I have installed that would correspond with the picture correctly...

Anyway, other things have been happening as well. My cat Mr.Whiskers (yeah, yeah, I know) has a urinary track infection and kidney failure. HOWEVER, the Vet said that the infection can be causing the failure, so if we treat it with antibiotics, the kidney should function normally again. It also helps that Whiskers isn't totally sick, he's still doing things, so we know we caught it before he got worse. So, that's good.

Something that Really Upset Me

There is something very serious that I need to touch on today, and this is going to be very long.
So we were having an open discussion on bullying today at my school, for those you go to Centennial, you know what I'm talking about, and I happened to be in my art class. My art teacher told a story that made me start crying. She said that a while back, she had a student that had been sexually harassed since the beginning of the year, and she didn't decide to tell her until now, and my teacher said "well, you should have said something when it first started."
As a teacher, you should be compassionate towards your students when something like that happens. It doesn't matter if she told you the minute it happened, or years after it did; you're supposed to be there for the student. That sarcastic and dismissive comment was not needed. How would you feel if someone that you trusted said something like that to you if you were to undergo such events? Do you know how much it hurts to be violated in such a way, and how much it worsens when you're dismissed because of it? No, of course you don't. You're an ignorant idiot.
I want you to look at these statistics
683,000 forcible rapes occur every year; which equals 56,916 per month; 1,871 per day; 78 per hour; and 1.3 per minute. Average reported cases 89,000. 57% of sexual assault cases are reported, 97% of rapists will never spend a day in jail.
Ninety Seven Percent
This doesn't hit me as a victim of rape or people that have been victims, but of statistics and the reality of rape culture and ignorance of some people
